Social network marketing is a free way of reaching a target ordinance quickly and effectively.  Many businesses of all sizes pay someone to do their social network marketing as it is a great way of advertising.   

The most popular social networking sites are Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin,  Myspace  Ning and Google Plus.   Its important for your business to have accounts on all these social networking sites.   I realise it takes time to set them up but once they are up and running you can add much of the same contact and article links to all of them which doesn’t take much time and is a great way of marketing your business.  Although I will be going into more detail about Facebook and Twitter, it is still important to have accounts with the other top social network sites.  

When you enter the world of social network marketing you are selling yourself, your own personality as well as your products.

 There are a few social network marketing sites but we will concentrate on the main ones for now. Setting up groups is an effective way of reaching a niche market.

Facebook

Create a business page that connects to your personal Face book account, advertise your website on your account.   You are allowed around 5,000 friends per Face book account so you may want to run more then one.   Be careful not to add too many friends at once as you can get suspended its probably best to add about ten new friends a day.  It takes time to build up a Face book account but the benefits are well worth it remember when you send out and invite to everyone on Face-book its shows up on their sites too so you will reach thousands.

Advertising is easy with Face book, but like many of the other social platforms the ad networks are immature and still wrestling with effectiveness. In contrast, the simple things you can do to broadcast and target your marketing message organically within the Face book application may give you even bigger results.

Put links to the articles you write and to the blogs on your website.

Content

Keep your content interesting and update daily even if its just one entry a day.  You can also put links on their to articles you write and send invites out now and then to everyone on your Face book site inviting them to your site for a free gift or voucher on a certain day.

Content should be interesting and funny, remember you are selling yourself as well as your products.  No-one wants to know you’ve been doing the ironing or what you had for dinner but they would like to hear a fun witty comment or follow a link to an article you have written which interests them.   You can add films and photographs to keep the site interesting.   Its also good to press likes to other peoples stuff and make complimentary friendly comments just to show an interest in other people.

Twitter

Twitter is a hugely effective network marketing site allowing you to reach thousands of people in seconds.  

It’s not just lonely youths using Twitter. Established experts and big business are also sending out tweets, engaging with other users and monitoring conversations, including the New York Times, Intel, Amazon and Delta Airlines.

Again it works in the same way you must put on interesting daily content with links to your articles or website blogs.  You also need to follow people.  But it really is very effective.

Linkedin,  My Space, Ning, Google Plus etc 

Other  great social networking sites, friendly easy to use and a quick effective way of reaching people and creating groups.

Social Network Marketing Techniques

Remember you are selling yourself so everything you put should be interesting. add interesting photo’s, movies, links to good articles and blogs. 

As in all businesses you need to take a look at your competition to see how they are marketing their businesses socially to make sure you are more interesting.   

Do not repeat things again and again, the same links you have to keep peoples interest. The best way to develop your business is for people to develop a genuine interest.  You will only do this by keeping the content eye-catching and interesting.

It is great if you can get your visitors to interact about your products and services this is great for your business.

 Another important social media marketing tips includes staying in touch with the latest trends and happenings in the industry. Check out the other niche and determine what they are currently providing to their users. Examine the topics very closely and try to incorporate something more innovative in your account page. This tip ensure that the attention towards your businesses products and services are maintained like before.

Have a marketing strategy which builds relationships with others this helps you stand out from other businesses.

Remember the more interesting and exiting you make your posts, the greater the impact you will have on people. And it is likely they will share the contents with people on their sites and so on.
